Mark Mountel has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Mark started their career as a Phlebotomist at Johns Hopkins Hospital in 1984. Mark then worked at Drake Center from 1989 to 2004, where they served as an Applications Systems Analyst and later as a Case Manager. At Drake Center, they managed various projects and implemented a billing process that resulted in increased revenue. In 2005, they joined CH Mack, Inc. as a Business Analyst II, where they developed case management software and optimized its functionality for the organization. Since 2006, Mark has been working at Life Enriching Communities, where they hold the position of Director of Technology & Procurement/HIPAA Officer. In this role, they have been responsible for providing technology leadership, overseeing HIPAA compliance, and managing procurement/purchasing activities.

Mark Mountel has a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from the University of Cincinnati, which they obtained between 1986 and 1989. Mark then pursued a Master's degree in Social Work at the University of Kentucky from 1990 to 1991. Prior to these degrees, Mark studied Personnel Management at the University of Cincinnati Carl H. Lindner College of Business from 1980 to 1983.
