Ismael Peral Álvarez

Ismael Peral Álvarez has worked in various IT roles since 2007. Ismael began their career as a Systems Operator at Cooperativa d'Arquitectes Jordi Capell / Eupalinos in 2007. In 2014, they worked as a Systems Technician at Tiendeo and also as a Professor of Programming at Codelearn. In 2016, they joined Merkle as a Technical Support Engineer. In 2018, they returned to Tiendeo as a Team Lead and IT Systems Engineer. Most recently, they joined Lifebit in 2020 as a Lead IT Platform Engineer, where they have been responsible for hiring, mentoring, managing the team backlog and setting up individual and team goals. Ismael has also been introducing best practices on existing projects, auditing costs, implementing cost-saving strategies and automating when possible.

Ismael Peral Álvarez completed their Bachelor's Degree in Informatics Engineering from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya's Facultat d'Informàtica de Barcelona in 2014. Ismael also holds certifications from IBM Professional Certification, Microsoft, IBM, and Amazon Web Services (AWS), including IBM Campaign - Cross Channel Marketing Technical Professional v1 (obtained in November 2017), Exam 461: Querying Microsoft SQL Server 2012/2014 (obtained in July 2017), IBM Marketing Cloud - Fundamentals (obtained in April 2017), AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate (obtained in March 2020), and AWS Certified Developer - Associate Level (obtained in February 2017).
