Jessica Tay

Jessica Tay has over 15 years of work experience in the areas of compliance, risk, privacy, data security, and financial management. Jessica started their career in 2006 as an Assistant Manager in Tax at KPMG. In 2010, they were an Assistant Manager in Management Consulting - Financial Management at KPMG, followed by a role as Manager (Executive Advisor) in Information Protection (Cyber Security) at KPMG UK in 2012. In 2014, they moved to PwC as a Manager in IT Risk Assurance - Data Privacy and Information Security. In 2017, they became the Director of Global Privacy at Standard Chartered Bank, followed by a role as Chief Compliance Officer and Global Privacy Officer at Intralinks in 2018. Most recently, in 2019 they became the Head of Risk and Compliance at ARRIVAL, where they were responsible for initiating and leading the Compliance, Risk and Regulatory team setup and delivery for a Unicorn EV startup.

Jessica Tay's education history includes a Master of Science in Banking and International Finance from Cass Business School from 2004 to 2005, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from King's College London from 2001 to 2004. Jessica also holds four certifications: Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM) from the International Association of Privacy Professionals in 2014, Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe (CIPP/E) from the International Association of Privacy Professionals in 2014, CISSP\u00ae - Certified Information Systems Security Professional - Associate from the International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium (ISC)2 in 2014, and SABSA Chartered Security Architect - Foundation Certificate (SCF) from SABSAcourses in 2013.
