Brett R. Lenz, PhD, PEG, possesses extensive experience in the fields of geology and resource management, currently serving as the Manager of the Power Production Division at Grant County Public Utility District since January 1996, where responsibilities include overseeing cultural resources compliance and facilitating Native American participation in resource management. In addition, Brett has served as a Science Advisor for the Lifeboat Foundation and as the Principal Engineering Geologist and Geoarchaeologist at Columbia Geotechnical Associates Inc. since January 1996. Brett contributes to scholarly work as a member of the Editorial Board for Geoarchaeology in the Journal of Paleoindian Archaeology since November 2016. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Engineering Geology with an application to Quaternary environments from the University of Leicester, an M.S. in Quaternary Geology from Northern Arizona University, and a B.S. in Geology and Anthropology from Central Washington University.
