Ayub Mutethia

Ayub Mutethia is a seasoned laboratory professional with extensive experience in laboratory management and molecular science. Currently serving as the Laboratory Manager at LifeCare Hospitals since February 2022, Ayub has also held the role of Laboratory Manager - Molecular Scientist at LifeCare Labs in Nairobi. Prior positions include Head of Section for the Molecular Department at The Karen Hospital and UNDP National Specialist for Covid-19, where Ayub contributed to the national response team as a National Laboratory Specialist. Ayub's career began as a Medical Laboratory Technologist at The Karen Hospital. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Clinical Laboratory Science from the Technical University of Mombasa and ongoing studies towards a Master's Degree in Epidemiology and Biostatistics at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology.
