Sebastian Bryers

Sebastian Bryers has a broad range of work experience in the tech industry. Sebastian started their career as a Software Engineering Consultant at Avaloq from November 2013 to June 2015. There, they executed business analysis, design, and coding in PL/SQL and Java. Sebastian also developed and implemented functional backend accounting and payment systems within the Avaloq Banking System (ABS), and managed relationships with BT Financial Group. Additionally, they designed and implemented XML/Web-based solutions for Westpac Group downstream services.

In 2015, Sebastian joined Ora Organic as a Full-stack Developer. Sebastian worked in this role until August 2019 when they were promoted to Chief Technology Officer (CTO). During their time at Ora Organic, Sebastian gained experience in both front-end and back-end development.

Currently, Sebastian holds the position of Head of UI at LifeCloud, starting in November 2023.

Sebastian Bryers completed their Master of Commerce in Business Information Systems, General at the University of Sydney from 2012 to 2013. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Music from the same university from 2009 to 2011. Sebastian also attended Auckland Grammar School from 2003 to 2007, though no specific degree or field of study is mentioned. Sebastian additionally holds a certification as an Avaloq Certified Professional from Avaloq, which was obtained in 2013.
