Rania G. currently serves as a Veterinary Medical Officer at the USDA Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) since January 2021 and is a contributing writer for LifeLearn, Inc. since February 2016, collaborating on veterinary educational materials and software content. Previously, Rania held various positions at the University of Florida as Center Coordinator and Project Manager for the One Health Center of Excellence from January 2018 to January 2021, and worked as an Adjunct Professor of Anatomy and Physiology at Santa Fe College in 2018. Rania has extensive experience as a Veterinarian at Banfield Pet Hospital (August 2010 - September 2016), focusing on evidence-based medicine and preventive care, and began the career as a Pharmacy Technician during veterinary studies at the University of Minnesota (2007 - 2009). Rania holds a Master’s Degree in Public Health from the University of Florida, a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Minnesota, and a Bachelor's degree in Zoology/Animal Biology from the University of Florida.
