LIFELENZ is a rapidly growing team of 80+ mathematicians, engineers, designers, computer scientists, strategists and client success experts based in the U.S., Canada,  Australia, UK, building a machine learning-based, advanced analytics workforce and human capital management platform. Our platform solves challenges related to onboarding, sales & labour forecasting, scheduling & time clock/keeping, insights & reporting and labour law compliance.  It uses machine learning to automatically self-tune and self-manage models to a particular store with hyper-local attributes.  The technology approach and analytic methodologies used enable the distribution across large-scale centralized ownership and highly fragmented franchised ownership companies. 

We have won many awards for client delivery and collectively contributed to over 100+ global patents for complex software platforms.  We have recently closed our financing B round bringing our total capital raised to over $55M.  

As we emerge from our stealth mode and embark on expanding our team to better serve the evolving needs of our global Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) clientele, we are thrilled to be recruiting for this newly created Solution Architect opportunity.

A Solution Architect at LIFELENZ, plays a crucial role in guiding clients through the implementation and rollout of LIFELENZ, with a specific focus on the Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) industry.  

You will combine your expertise in business analysis, solution design, technical knowledge, and client engagement to ensure that the deployed solution meets the client's needs, achieves their objectives, and delivers long-term value to the organization.   

As Solution Architect at LIFELENZ you will become a subject matter expert on the LIFELENZ platform, demonstrating the most comprehensive understanding of the functional capabilities of the platform and intimate knowledge of how clients are using our platform.  You will gain a deep understanding of our product's architecture, APIs, and integration capabilities, along with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.  

A successful Solution Architect at LIFELENZ will carry a diverse skill set encompassing technical proficiency, stakeholder and client engagement, problem-solving, adaptability, and leadership. You will have a strong desire to develop a deep understanding of LIFELENZ software architecture, coupled with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to adeptly navigate challenges, foster collaboration, and drive project success, ultimately facilitating the successful deployment and integration of LIFELENZ into client operations. 

Key responsibilities included but are not limited to the following:  

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs, challenges, and objectives. Conduct thorough requirements gathering sessions, workshops, and interviews to capture essential requirements and translate them into actionable insights.

  • Using the collected requirements, determine the most suitable platform features, utilizing your proficiency in the platform's functionalities, configurations, and integrations. This process aims to develop a solution design that is tailored to the client's business objectives, potentially encompassing the creation of processes, workflows, and data models in partnership with the Implementation Lead.

  • Oversee the establishment of standardized configurations and preferences that align with the organization's requirements including the definition of default settings for various components of the LIFELENZ platform, such as general settings, break types, KPI components/Dashboards, People Settings, Metadata Types/ Layouts, user permissions, and other application configurations.

  • Validate customer functional requirements discovered in the sales process through discovery workshops and informational sessions with operational stakeholders.

  • Identification of new custom functional requirements in the solution design phase.

  • Engage the Product Team to solution and design custom work in line with customer’s requirements and project timelines.

  • Present custom requirements to Prioritization Committee for approval.

  • Advocate for clients with our product teams, influence roadmap decisions, and suggest product improvements.

  • Manage organizational change and ensuring successful adoption of the new software solution by developing change management strategies, communicate changes effectively to stakeholders, and provide support to minimize resistance and promote user adoption.

  • Work closely with the implementation team to identify potential barriers to adoption and develop strategies to overcome them, ensuring a smooth transition to the new software.

  • Collaborate closely with technical teams to ensure that the solution design is technically feasible, aligned with best practices, and optimized for the platform's capabilities.

  • Maintain clear communication channels, address client concerns, and provide regular updates on the project's progress. Ensure that the client's expectations are managed effectively and that any changes or adjustments are communicated promptly.

  • Act as a trusted advisor to customers by providing best practices and identifying areas of opportunity throughout the implementation process

  • Conduct LIFELENZ product demonstrations and presentations to showcase our capabilities and value to clients. Highlight how the platform addresses specific business challenges and delivers tangible benefits.

  • Provide training via a train-the-trainer approach, equipping customer with training sessions and materials to ensure continued success.

  • Provide support to clients to ensure successful adoption and utilization of the platform.

  • Throughout the implementation process, Solutions Architects advocate for our client's interests and ensure that the deployed solution meets their expectations. They represent the client's needs within the implementation team, provide feedback on the solution's
    effectiveness, and advocate for any necessary adjustments or enhancements.

  • Post-Implementation, continue to support clients, address any issues or concerns that arise, and provide guidance on optimizing the use of the SaaS platform. Serve as a trusted advisor, helping clients maximize the value of their investment in our platform over time

Knowledge, Experience, [Competencies/Capabilities] Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Marketing, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in Solution Architecture/Consulting or integration, within the technology or software industry.

  • Deep understanding of the QSR industry, including its dynamics, key players, and emerging trends is highly desirable.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients to understand their requirements, address concerns, and ensure satisfaction throughout the implementation process.

  • Experience conducting requirements gathering sessions, workshops, and interviews.

  • Proven ability to translate client requirements into actionable solutions, leveraging product's features and functionalities to create tailored solutions that align with client objectives.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for identifying and addressing challenges that arise during the implementation process, ensuring successful deployment and integrations.

  • Ability to provide feedback on solution effectiveness and advocate for necessary adjustments or enhancements.

  • Experience in change management strategies to support successful software adoption.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and adapt to changing priorities.

  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Travel will be required to meet with Customers and attend industry events.

  • Comfortable with autonomy, resourcefulness, and flexibility in a fast-paced environment.
