Dori Gilbert, Psy.D., LMFT has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Dori currently serves as the Chief Program Officer at North County Lifeline, where they oversee the overall management and day-to-day operations of the organization. Prior to this, they worked as a Marriage and Family Therapist at PsyCare, Inc., providing treatment and evaluation to individuals and couples. Dori also held the position of Regional Director of Development at Alsana, where they enhanced existing treatment facilities and opened new sites. Before that, they served as the Deputy Director of Departmental Operations for the East and North Central regions of San Diego County, overseeing government programs related to Health and Human Services. Dori has also worked at the YMCA of San Diego County, where they held various roles including Associate Executive Director for Counseling & Family Support, MFT Program Therapist, MFT Trainee/Registered Intern, and Senior Program Director. Dori started their career as an English Teacher at a primary school in Hungary.

Dori Gilbert, Psy.D., LMFT holds a Doctor of Psychology degree in Marital and Family Therapy from Alliant International University, as well as a Master of Arts degree in Marriage and Family Studies and a Certificate in Chemical Dependency from the same institution. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies from National University. Dori also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree and Teaching Credential from the Teacher Training College of Ja'szbere'ny, where they double majored in English and primary school studies.
