Lea Katt

Associate Professional Clinical Counselor at Lifeline Community Services

Lea Katt is an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor at North County Lifeline, responsible for maintaining a caseload of 15-20 clients from BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ communities since September 2021. Lea provides client-centered, trauma-informed counseling using evidence-based practices like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing. Previously, as a Clinical Counseling Intern at North County Lifeline, Lea conducted individual and group therapy sessions, performed behavioral health assessments, and developed treatment plans for children and adolescents. Earlier experience includes serving as an Early Childhood Development Teacher at Balanced Family Academy, where curriculum design and individualized support for young learners were key responsibilities. Lea holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of San Diego and a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science from The Ohio State University.
