Kim Hildebrand Cardoso

Kim Hildebrand Cardoso has extensive experience in the field of reproductive and sexual health. Kim began their career as a Nurse Midwife and Nurse Practitioner at LifeLong Medical Care in 2006. In 2014, they took on the role of Associate Medical Director at the Ashby Health Center within the same organization. Kim also served as the Associate Medical Director for Sexual and Reproductive Health. Kim worked at LifeLong Medical Care until at least 2018.

From 2010 to 2015, Kim worked as a Nurse Midwife at Alameda County Medical Center. Prior to that, from 2009 to 2014, they held the same position at Sutter Health. Kim also worked as a Sexual Assault Examiner at UCSF Medical Center from 1999 to 2005.

In addition to their clinical roles, Kim was a Co-Founder and Board Member at the Women's Community Clinic from 1998 to 2006. Kim is currently a supporter of the organization. Before that, they worked as a Nurse Midwife at Haight Ashbury Free Clinics from 1998 to 2001.

Kim Hildebrand Cardoso, CNM, NP holds a BA in Psychology and Art from McDaniel College, which they earned from 1987 to 1991. Kim pursued further education at the University of California, San Francisco from 1995 to 1998, where they obtained an MS in Nurse Midwifery. Additionally, they participated in a program on Kenya: Coastal Studies at the School for International Training in 1990. Kim also holds a certification as a Certified Nurse Midwife from the American Midwifery Certification Board.
