Akintunde R. Akinleye

Akintunde R. Akinleye, MD, MSc(Oncology), CMH currently serves as an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Hematology/Oncology at Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine since January 2016 and holds the position of Hematology/Medical Oncology Attending Physician at LifePoint Health since October 2015. Previous experience includes a fellowship in Hematology/Oncology at Westchester Medical Center from July 2012 to June 2015 and a residency as a Resident Physician at Atlantic Health from July 2009 to June 2012. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Oncology and Cancer Biology from the University of Nottingham (2005-2006), a Diploma in Medical Humanities from Drew University (2009-2012), and a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Obafemi Awolowo University (1994-2003).
