Katy Freiburger

Katy Freiburger is an Occupational Therapist at Lifepoint Health®, having started in September 2023 at North Kansas City Hospital's acute rehab unit, where evaluation and treatment of patients with neurological disorders, stroke, trauma, spinal cord injuries, cardiac conditions, and orthopedic surgeries takes place. Prior to this role, Katy completed a Level II fieldwork rotation at Saint Luke's Health System from April to June 2023, focusing on orthopedic and neurological care, and another Level II fieldwork at the Special School District from January to April 2023, providing services in a school setting. Earlier fieldwork experiences include Level I placements at TREE House of Greater St. Louis, providing hippotherapy and therapeutic riding, and Madonna Rehabilitation Hospitals, specializing in inpatient neurorehabilitation. Katy holds a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy/Therapist and a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Science from Saint Louis University, where studies were completed from May 2018 to May 2022.
