Melissa Patton

Melissa Patton has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry, specifically in leadership roles. Melissa is currently working at Lifepoint Health® as the Vice President of National Nursing & Quality, Behavioral Health. Prior to this, they held the position of National Nursing AVP of Behavioral Health at the same company. Before joining Lifepoint Health®, Melissa was the Vice President of Nursing at Springstone, Inc. Melissa also served as the Director of Nursing at Springstone and Columbus Springs Dublin. Melissa's earlier experience includes working as a Clinical Nurse Manager at UPMC and Western Psychiatric Clinic. Melissa began their career as a Registered Nurse at UPMC Braddock. Melissa also has teaching experience as a Nursing Clinical Instructor at Capital University.

Melissa Patton's education history begins in 2002 when they attended the Community College of Allegheny County, where they earned an Associate's degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse. From 2007 to 2009, they pursued a Bachelor's degree at Chatham University, with a focus on Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse and Law and Society.

In 2012, Melissa enrolled in Drexel University, where they completed a Master's degree in Nursing Leadership and Health Systems Management from 2012 to 2015. Currently, Melissa is pursuing a Doctorate of Nursing at Aspen University, a program they started in 2020 and expects to complete by 2024.
