Christine Herd

Christine Herd possesses extensive experience in fitness instruction and program management, currently serving as a First Aid and CPR/HCP Instructor and Examiner at Lifesaving Society Ontario since November 2000, and as a Service Worker, Group Fitness Instructor, and certified JHSC Member at Lord Dufferin Centre since October 2014. Previous roles include contract and instructor positions at various towns, including leading aquatic fitness classes at the Town of Orangeville and the City of Brampton. Christine has a strong background in leadership and administration from a tenure as Senior Director at YMCA of Greater Toronto, where responsibilities included managing budgets, staff, and safety protocols, as well as facilitating training programs. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science from Western University and a Recreation Leadership Diploma from Fanshawe College.
