Cassidy Smith-Broyles

Cassidy Smith-Broyles has a diverse background in corporate communications and public relations. Cassidy is currently working as the Director of Communications at Lifespace Communities, Inc. Prior to this role, they worked at CSG as the Executive Director, Corporate Communications, and as the Director and Senior Manager of Corporate Communications. Cassidy also has experience in the technology industry, having held positions at Sabre Corporation as an Executive and Internal Communications Partner and as a Principal in PR and Executive Communications. Earlier in their career, they worked at ORBITZ as a Public Relations Manager and a Corporate Communications Specialist. Cassidy's experience also includes working as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Georgetown University and as a Special Correspondent at The Sanger Herald, where they won a Gruner Award for their series of articles on the real estate boom and bust. Cassidy has also worked in the arts industry as a PR/Marketing Assistant at the Carmel Bach Festival. Cassidy began their career working as a Night Reporter for The Fresno Bee and as a Maddy Institute Costa Federal Intern in Congressman Jim Costa's Office.

Cassidy Smith-Broyles holds a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Communication, Culture & Technology from Georgetown University, which was obtained from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, Cassidy completed a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Mass Communication and Journalism (Broadcast) from California State University, Fresno. Additionally, Cassidy has obtained a certification in Strategic Thinking from LinkedIn in April 2020.
