Christopher A. Ferraro

Christopher Ferraro, MBA, EMHL, is chief financial officer at Coastal Medical. In his role as CFO, Ferraro is responsible for providing strategic, financial, and operational leadership. Ferraro takes on an active role in payer contract negotiations as well as oversight of risk contract performance. He is committed to the organization’s focus on transitioning to value-based care and the achievement of the Quadruple Aim (better cost, better health, better care and better clinician well-being).

Ferraro's approach is to understand the clinical impact of patient-focused programs versus purely the financial impact to the bottom line. He has over 25 years of healthcare experience and has held senior leadership positions within hospital settings and physician-based practices.

Ferraro holds an executive master of healthcare leadership degree from Brown University, a master of business administration from Providence College, and a bachelor of science in accounting from Western New England College.
