Wendy Hanrahan currently serves as the Head of Initial Teacher Education at Lift Schools Multi-academy Trust, a position held since June 2022. Prior to this role, Wendy held various positions at Bath Spa University from June 2016 to August 2022, including University Strategic Lead for Initial Teacher Education (ITE) and Programme Leader for multiple ITE courses. Wendy also completed a secondment as Programme Director for the Teach First PGCE courses at the University of Bristol from June 2015 to June 2016. Earlier in their career, Wendy worked as a Teaching and Learning Consultant at Bath & North East Somerset Council and held several leadership roles within primary education, starting as a teacher at South Gloucestershire Council in 1993. Wendy holds a Bachelor of Education degree from the University of the West of England.
