Amberlee Haselhuhn is the Senior Manager of Materials & ICME at LIFT. Prior to their current role, they served as a Senior Researcher at General Motors, where they led research related to welding and joining of dissimilar materials, including advanced high strength steels and dissimilar metals such as aluminum and steel. Amberlee has also held the role of Researcher at General Motors, where they applied fundamentals of materials science & engineering to research related to welding and joining of dissimilar materials. Additionally, Amberlee served as the President of Graduate Student Government at Michigan Technological University, where they liaised between graduate students, faculty, Michigan Tech administration, and the Michigan Tech Board of Control to advocate for graduate student needs and communicate critical information to the graduate student population.
Amberlee Haselhuhn earned a PhD in Materials Science & Engineering from Michigan Technological University. Amberlee also holds two bachelor's degrees from the same school, one in Materials Science & Engineering and the other in Biomedical Engineering.
Amberlee Haselhuhn reports to Noel Mack, CTO. They are on a team with Rich Hoffer - Manager Facility Ops, External Extended Enterprise - Technical, and Denise Vallis (LIFT SH) - Program Manager. and David Hicks - Senior Engineer, Mod & Sim reports to Amberlee Haselhuhn.
