Hugh Fitz-Gibbon MIPA has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Starting in 2016, they worked as a Communications Assistant at Canoe Inc Ltd, where they collected and monitored coverage for client reports and assisted with event activation and brand campaigns. In the same year, they also worked as a Junior Account Executive at STIR (Public Relations), managing multiple accounts, organizing experiential events, and contributing as an in-house photographer and videographer.

In 2017, Fitz-Gibbon joined Fetch as an Account Executive, where they managed a $1.6M budget for global brand and direct response paid social campaigns. Their responsibilities included media planning, buying, and account management. In 2018, they were promoted to Senior Account Executive, and in 2019, they became an Account Manager.

From 2019 to 2021, Fitz-Gibbon worked at dentsu X as a Planning Manager, where they held a leadership role and was responsible for overseeing planning activities. Their tenure with dentsu X ended in August 2021.

Hugh Fitz-Gibbon MIPA obtained their Bachelor's degree in English Literature and Music from Oxford Brookes University, where they studied from 2010 to 2013. In addition to their degree, they have acquired several certifications in various fields. These include the TV Masters certification from Thinkbox, obtained in April 2021, and The Fundamentals of Digital Marketing certification from Google Digital Garage, obtained in May 2020. Hugh also holds the Accredited MIPA certification from IPA (Institute of Practitioners in Advertising), obtained in March 2019.

Furthermore, they have obtained The IPA Commercial Certificate, The IPA Digital Performance Certificate, and The IPA Foundation Certificate, all from IPA, in February 2019, and May 2018, respectively. Additionally, they have acquired certifications in Snapchat Advertising Core Competencies from Snap Inc. in November 2018, Marketing Communications from Lynda.com in September 2018, Google Analytics for Beginners from Google in March 2019, Facebook Certified Media Buying Professional in August 2019, and Facebook Certified Buying Professional in August 2018.
