James Fitzgerald

James Fitzgerald is the Senior Director of Operations & Supply Chain at LIFX. Prior to their current role, they served as the Supply Chain & Operations Manager at Kadac Pty Ltd from November 2017 to September 2018. In this role, they were responsible for all procurement, forecasting, sourcing, demand planning, inventory control and internal operations. A key focus for James was on improving alignment between Sales, Marketing and Manufacturing.

During their time at Kadac Pty Ltd, James led a number of key projects with the goal of improving profitability and efficiency. James successfully implemented an external supplier KPI framework against revenue objectives, promotional plans & cost down requirements. This increased profitability & internally strengthened the adoption of preferred supplier activity. Additionally, James' inbound logistics project resulted in a 20% reduction in costs. James also identified inefficiencies in third party processing and outsourced packaging labor which reduced the range and streamlined the bulk sourcing - resulting in $400K savings.

In addition to their operational responsibilities, James also served as a mentor and trainer for sales, marketing & merchandise staff - leading the process to ensure all sides of the organisation synchronised and agreed on action plans, and the resulting inventory demands. Thanks to James' leadership and dedication to improving efficiency, Kadac Pty Ltd saw significant improvements during their time there.

James Fitzgerald has a business degree from Monash University and experience in agribusiness and agricultural business operations.
