Sotheara Leang

Sotheara Leang is a PhD student at LIG - Grenoble Informatics Laboratory, specializing in research on Speech Dynamics for low-resource speech recognition, particularly for the languages French, Vietnamese, and Khmer. Previous experience includes serving as an NLP Researcher at the Cambodia Academy of Digital Technology, where Sotheara coordinated an NLP research team, and as a Master Research Intern at Skopai focusing on Information Retrieval and Text Summarization. Additional roles include Software Engineer at Mobile C&C, responsible for developing the PPCBank Core Banking Framework, and Java Web Developer at Nokor E-Solution Group, where the development of the medical application Cosium was a key responsibility. Early career experience also includes roles as an Android Developer Intern and PHP Web Developer Intern. Education includes a PhD in Computer Science from Université Grenoble Alpes, a Master's Degree in Computer Science from Grenoble INP - UGA, and an Engineer's Degree in Computer Science from the Institute of Technology of Cambodia.
