Houssein El Dirani

Houssein EL DIRANI, PhD, serves as the Head of Process Integration at LIGENTEC SA since April 2022, previously holding the position of Process Integration Engineer focused on silicon nitride technologies for photonics applications. Prior to LIGENTEC, Houssein worked as a Process Integration Engineer at STMicroelectronics from November 2019 to April 2022, specializing in BiCMOS process integration. Houssein's academic background includes a PhD in Nonlinear Photonics from Centrale Lyon (2016-2019) and a Master's degree in Laser and Optical Engineering from Grenoble INP - Phelma (2015-2016), along with early education at Université Joseph Fourier (Grenoble I) (2014-2015).
