Tonya Severance

Tonya Severance has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Tonya is currently a Senior Product Marketing Manager at Lightbend, Inc. since 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Product Marketing Manager at Appian Corporation from 2021 to 2023. Tonya also served as a Senior Product Marketing Manager at Blue Prism from 2017 to 2021, where they were responsible for the GTM strategy for Blue Prism products and solutions.

Before joining Blue Prism, they worked at PerfectServe, Inc. from 2016 to 2017 as a Product Marketing and Content Strategy professional, creating various marketing materials to support nurture campaigns. Tonya also had a short-term role as a Senior Campaigns Manager at Oracle in 2016.

Tonya has an extensive background in content marketing and strategy. Tonya worked at Sales Engine International from 2010 to 2016, holding positions such as Director of Content Marketing Strategy and Content Strategist. Tonya was responsible for creating content marketing strategies that generated demand and revenue for clients. Tonya also worked as a Marketing Director at B2B Media, Inc. from 2009 to 2010, where they oversaw marketing initiatives for the company.

Earlier in their career, Tonya worked as a Marketing and Membership Director at Calmetto Management Group from 2004 to 2008. Tonya was responsible for managing marketing, PR, advertising, and branding initiatives for clients. Tonya also worked at BI-LO, LLC as a Category Buyer and Category Marketing Assistant from 2002 to 2004. Their early experience includes serving as an Arts & Entertainment Editor at Creative Loafing from 1999 to 2001.

Tonya Severance completed their high school education at South Florence High School from 1990 to 1994. Tonya then pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications at Francis Marion University, graduating in 1999.
