The Software Engineering Team at Lightbend is responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing our open-source application frameworks such as Akka, Play, and Lagom, as well as our streaming and serverless offerings like Cloudflow and Cloudstate. This team ensures the scalability, resilience, and real-time capabilities of our products, supporting our mission to help clients build cloud-native, real-time applications. Collaborating closely with reliability engineers and tech leads, they also contribute to the evolution of the Scala programming language and provide developer support to ensure robust performance and seamless user experience.
