Ron Swartzentruber

Ron Swartzentruber has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies.

Starting in 1989 at Auburn Systems, they worked as a Project Engineer, leading the design of industrial control instruments and performing firmware design.

Ron then moved on to Analogic in 1997, where they worked as a Senior Design Engineer until 2000.

In 2000, they joined Tiburon Networks as a Senior Hardware Design Engineer.

From 2001 to 2005, they worked at Freescale Semiconductor as a Logic Design Manager.

In 2006, they became the Director of Engineering at Vitesse Semiconductor, leading a team of 30 people specializing in silicon development for OTN mappers and Ethernet MACs.

From 2011 to 2020, they worked at Netronome as the Silicon Development Lead, overseeing the technical activities for several Network Flow Processor SoC devices.

Currently, since 2021, they are serving as the Director of Engineering at Lightelligence.

Throughout their career, Ron has demonstrated expertise in various areas including architecture, logic design, verification, physical design, and firmware design.

Ron Swartzentruber obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Geneva College.
