Scott Witonsky has an extensive work experience in the field of intellectual property and licensing. Scott is currently serving as the Head of IP and Licensing and Associate General Counsel at LightForce Orthodontics, a digital platform specializing in customized tooth-moving tools. Prior to this, they held the position of Vice President, IP & Licensing at WiTricity Corporation, where they established an in-house legal practice for wireless charging business and managed a patent portfolio. Before that, they worked as a Senior Intellectual Property Counsel at Nuance Communications and as a Patent Counsel at Proskauer Rose LLP, where they provided strategic advice and directed patent prosecution strategies. Scott started their career as a Technology Specialist at Testa, Hurwitz & Thibeault, LLP, where they focused on patent applications and IP due diligence.

Scott Witonsky earned their Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry from The Johns Hopkins University from 1993 to 1997. Scott then pursued a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 1997 to 2002. Afterwards, they attended Suffolk University Law School from 2002 to 2006, where they obtained their J.D. degree.
