Sam Hocking

Sam Hocking is an accomplished entrepreneur and executive with extensive experience in the technology and finance sectors. Currently serving as Co-Founder and CEO of Vertis since June 2020, Sam has developed an innovative AI/GenAI SaaS platform for workforce planning that optimizes HR and real estate strategies. As Founder and CEO of SMH Analytics since November 2017, Sam has created AI solutions for various industries, collaborating with notable clients such as Clorox and KKR. Sam has also held advisory roles at multiple companies, including Lightkeeper and QuickAI, while previously leading AltX as Founder, CEO, and Chairman until its acquisition in 2017. With a background in prime brokerage at BNP Paribas and Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Sam has consistently driven revenue growth and client success. Sam holds an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and other advanced degrees in Economics and International Communications.
