David Agatston

David Agatston has served as Lightning eMotors’ Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer since October 2022. He previously was the founder and principal at Devils Peak Consulting, a firm providing outsourced financial consulting services. From June 2018 to January 2020 he was a Senior Vice President and Divisional CFO for Zayo Group, a provider of mission-critical communications infrastructure. From January 2007 to June 2018 he worked in a variety of increasingly responsible positions at Intelsat, a provider of fixed satellite services, including Divisional CFO and Vice President, Financial Planning & Analysis. Previously he held a number of finance and engineering roles at major telecom companies such as Sprint-Nextel, Nextel, and MCI.

David Agatston earned an MBA from the Darden School of Business Administration at the University of Virginia, and a B.S. in Electrical and Biomedical Engineering from Duke University.
