Kirk Monroe

Kirk brings over a decade of direct treatment center operating experience to lead the Lightning Step team. He has successfully managed all of the financial aspects of a multi-state, multi-site, high growth treatment organization, interfacing with patients, providers and payers along the way.

Prior to LST, Kirk served as the CFO of Newport Healthcare, the most successful adolescent and young adult treatment facilities in the country, where he was a key leader in growing the company from a local treatment center to a multi-state treatment system.

Kirk is a licensed CPA and holds a BBA and MBA from the University of St. Thomas in Houston, Texas. Kirk brings his vast knowledge of automated accrued revenue accounting, insurance billing and collections, and business strategy to add value to Lightning Step’s customers.
