David Tuch

David Tuch has over 18 years of experience in the medical technology industry. David began their career in 2002 as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Harvard Medical School. In 2003, they became a Faculty at the Department of Radiology at Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital. In 2002, they were also a Visiting Scientist at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). In 2006, they joined Novartis as Director & Global Head of Clinical Imaging, Head of Imaging Sciences and Technology, and Head of Medical Physics and Image Analysis. In 2011, they were appointed as Head of Research Alliances at GE Healthcare. In 2015, they became an Honorary Senior Lecturer at Imperial College London. In 2016, they joined the Board of Directors at Active Needle Technology Ltd. In 2017, they were appointed to the Board of Directors at South East Health Technologies Alliance (SEHTA). In 2022, they became Chairman at Lucida Medical Ltd. David is currently Founder & Chairman at Lightpoint Medical, and Founder & CEO at the same company.

David Tuch obtained their PhD from the Harvard-MIT Division of Health Sciences and Technology (HST) at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. David holds a BA in Physics from the University of Chicago, and has completed Strategic Marketing Management at Harvard Business School. David also has experience from The Wharton School in Creating and Implementing Strategy, and from INSEAD in Managing Partnerships and Strategic Alliances.
