Ian Thompson is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in technology management and business operations. Currently serving as a Senior Advisor at Lightricity, Ian is involved in developing cutting-edge indoor light energy harvesting technology. Additionally, Ian holds a part-time role as Business Operations Director at Lightricity, supports the growth of IN Reality Ltd as an Advisory Board Member, and is the Founder and Managing Director of Buckingham Technologies Ltd. As Chair of IF Oxford Ltd, Ian oversees the "IF-Oxford science + ideas Festival." Past roles include mentoring for the Royal Academy of Engineering and leadership positions at Sharp Laboratories of Europe Ltd, where Ian directed R&D efforts, and Faradion Limited.
