Brett Welch

Brett Welch has over 16 years of experience in various roles within the technology industry. Brett is currently working at Lightricks as the Vice President of Product Management. Before that, they worked as a Product Management Consultant for their own business. Brett also has experience working at Facebook as a Product Manager from 2014 to 2018. Brett founded and served as the CEO of Switchcam, a company focused on attention analysis using data from Instagram and YouTube. Prior to this, Brett worked at Adobe Systems as a Product Marketing Manager, where they developed marketing strategies and implemented a new sales model. Brett was also a co-founder at GoodBarry, a small business brand for Business Catalyst, which was eventually acquired by Adobe Systems. Brett's career began at Business Catalyst, where they held various roles including Software Engineer, and contributed to the development and execution of marketing strategies. Before that, they founded AxiomOne, a software and services consulting firm.

Brett Welch began their education at Daramalan College from 1997 to 2000. Brett then attended the University of New South Wales (UNSW) from 2001 to 2006, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering with First Class Honours, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Arts with a focus on Chinese language and culture. Brett'sstudies at UNSW encompassed various subjects including Software Design, Algorithms, Formal Methods, and Chinese Language and Culture. In 2005 and 2006, Brett also studied Chinese Language at Beijing Language and Culture University.
