Johanna Lea Benishay

Johanna Lea Benishay is an experienced Hebrew Ulpan teacher and learning programs coordinator, currently working at Ulpan Tsofia since February 2018, where responsibilities include writing tailor-made learning programs and simulating practical day-to-day situations. Additionally, Johanna teaches Hebrew to Russian speakers at MILHAUZ Institute and to Arabic-speaking engineers at Azrieli College of Engineering Jerusalem. In the high-tech sector, Johanna teaches professional and conversational Hebrew at Lightricks. Previous teaching roles include positions at Bar-Ilan University, the Consulate General of France in Jerusalem, Magid Institute, LeadLike, and Masa programs. Johanna holds an Associate’s Degree in training teachers of Hebrew as a Second Language from Rothberg International School and a Bachelor’s Degree in Language Interpretation and Translation and Political Sciences from Bar-Ilan University.
