George Charalambous

George Charalambous started their work experience at Severn Trent in 2007, where they held several roles including Senior Data Operations & Planning Lead and Senior Subject Transformation Expert. In 2017, they joined Balfour Beatty plc as a Global Engineering Planning Manager. Currently, they are working at Lightsource bp as the O&M Head of Planning, Performance & Logistics since June 2021. Throughout their career, George has been involved in various aspects of project planning, implementation, and management, as well as building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders and customers.

George Charalambous has a diverse educational background spanning over several years. George began their education journey in 2003 at Derby College, where they pursued a Level 2 Diploma in Information Technology and successfully completed it in 2005.

After a substantial gap, George resumed their studies at APEX Academy in 2020 and enrolled in a Level 2 with Distinction program in Electrical Engineering Professional Diploma, which they completed in 2023.

In the same year, they also pursued a Level 2 Diploma in Understanding Climate Change and Environmental Awareness at Bridgwater & Taunton College. This degree provided him with an understanding of climate change and environmental awareness.

Continuing their academic pursuit, George joined The Open University in 2022 to pursue a Level 3 Diploma in Financial risk management. This particular program aimed to enhance their knowledge and skills in understanding and managing risk associated with financial matters.

It's noteworthy that George returned to Bridgwater & Taunton College in 2022 with a long-term plan of completing a degree in Understanding Climate Change and Environmental Awareness. Currently, they are expected to complete this degree by 2033.
