Martin Hussey

Martin Hussey has a range of work experience in the energy and business development sectors. Martin is currently working at Lightsource bp as the Director of Business Development, and previously held the roles of Senior Manager and Senior Analyst in the same company. Prior to this, Martin worked as an Associate in Origination at BayWa r.e. Solar Projects and also as a Fellow at the Clean Energy Leadership Institute. Martin also has experience in the advisory field, where they worked as an Advisory Senior Associate and Advisory Associate at KPMG US. Martin's earlier experience includes an internship as a Country Desks Intern at the BRICS Policy Center and a role as a Business and Competitive Intelligence Intern at Sandia National Laboratories.

Martin Hussey attended Georgetown University from 2010 to 2014, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service (B.S.F.S.) with a focus on Science Technology and International Affairs. In 2013, they participated in a study abroad program at the Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro, where they studied International Relations and Affairs for one year.
