Stavros Tassos

Stavros Tassos has extensive experience in the renewables industry, primarily in Europe, Africa, Middle East, SE Asia, and LatAm. Stavros worked at Mott MacDonald from 2005 to 2019, where they held various roles including Renewables Team Leader and Energy Advisor. In these positions, they were involved in renewable energy projects, due diligence, project feasibility, project development, and transaction advisory. Stavros also contributed to business development, business planning, and strategy. In 2019, they joined Lightsource BP as the Head of Commercial Engineering.

Stavros Tassos completed a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering & Electronics from The University of Manchester from 1997 to 2000. Stavros then pursued a Master's degree in Renewable Energy Systems Technology from Loughborough University from 2000 to 2001. Stavros further advanced their education by obtaining a Master's degree in Technology & Innovation Management (Distinction) from the University of Stirling from 2001 to 2002. Additionally, Stavros obtained several certifications, including ones in financial analysis, talent management, and strategic planning, from various institutions such as LinkedIn and edX in 2019.
