LaFaith W. has an extensive work experience in the education sector. LaFaith began their career in 2000 as an Educational Sales Representative for McGraw-Hill (SRA), where they marketed instructional materials to schools in the Houston area. In 2005, they became an Independent Sales Representative for Silpada Designs Jewelry. In 2007, they joined Academic Partnerships as a Regional Executive Director - Central US. LaFaith then held the roles of Senior Executive Director, District Director - Texas, and Executive Director. In 2014, they moved to School Improvement Network as a Strategic Partner Advisor, where they sold software products and related services in the Houston Area. In 2015, they joined Teach Away as a Business Development Manager - USA & Canada, where they represented their US division, Klassroom. LaFaith also joined Kaduceus, Inc. as an Educational Consultant. In 2020, they returned to Teach Away in the same role. Most recently, they began working as an Account Executive at Lightspeed, A Learning Company in 2021.

LaFaith W. attended Stephen F. Austin State University from 1990 to 1994, where they earned a BSIS in Education & Math. In April 1995, they obtained a Lifetime Texas Teaching Certificate in Mathematics (1-8) from the Texas Education Agency. In June 2016, they acquired a Communicating with Confidence certification from Lynda.com. Finally, in November 2019, they were awarded a TESOL Certification from International Open Academy.
