Josh Chan

Josh Chan's work experience includes co-founding and serving as CEO at Halo AR, where they are responsible for building a global learning layer for the real world using augmented reality. Josh started this role in January 2021 and is currently working on launching the project in 2022.

Prior to their current position, Josh co-founded and served as CEO at LightUp starting in January 2014.

Josh also has experience as a Science Teacher at the Palo Alto Unified School District from September 2011 to June 2012.

Additionally, they worked as a Writer & Social Media Manager at the Stanford Woods Institute for the Environment from 2009 to 2011.

Josh began their career as a Lab Assistant at the Carnegie Institution for Science from January 2008 to January 2009.

Josh Chan attended Stanford University from 2007 to 2011, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Human Biology. After that, they pursued further education at Stanford University from 2011 to 2012 and obtained a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Education.
