Reid Schendel

Reid Schendel has a range of work experience in software engineering and development. Reid currently holds a position as a Senior Software Engineer at Liine, starting in January 2023. Prior to this, Reid worked at State Farm as a Full Stack Software Engineer from February 2020 until January 2023. In this role, they focused on building tools and capabilities to mask/anonymize sensitive data for data modeling and other business purposes. Reid played a key role in developing the initial iteration of the UI.

Before State Farm, Reid worked at Bayer Crop Science as a Full Stack Software Developer from January 2019 to August 2019. Reid also had an earlier role as an Entry Level Software Developer at Bayer, starting in June 2018 and ending in December 2018. Reid also gained software development experience as an Entry Level Software Developer at Monsanto Company from June 2018 to August 2018.

Reid's earlier experiences include working as a Web Developer for Netmath at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign from August 2017 to January 2018. Reid also completed internships at Kohl's Department Stores as a Software Engineering Intern from June 2017 to August 2017, and at Watchfire Signs as a Software Engineering Intern from May 2016 to August 2016. At Watchfire Signs, Reid worked on developing tools to streamline production and minimize workload, with a focus on web and database development. Reid also had a previous internship at Watchfire Signs where they worked with the software development team to build intranet tools using the ASP.NET MVC framework.

Reid Schendel completed their high school education from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where they studied Mathematics and Computer Science from 2014 to 2018. Additionally, they obtained a certification as an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in July 2020.
