Henry Davies

Henry Davies has a diverse work experience in the field of data protection and privacy. Henry is currently working as a Data Protection Lead at Likewize, where they provide solutions to protect customer's tech and ensure data security. Henry is also an Advisory Board Member at the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP), where they focus on policies and procedures for fair treatment of certification candidates. Additionally, they serve as a Trustee/Non-Executive Director at The Gingerbread Centre, advocating for the rights of vulnerable individuals. In the past, Henry worked as a voluntary Data Protection Officer at CHANGES UK Community Interest Company, providing specialist advice to the board and management team. Henry also held roles at Veolia UK, including Deputy Data Protection Officer and Data Protection Analyst, where they ensured compliance with data protection regulations and implemented privacy management systems.

Henry Davies completed their Master of Laws (LLM) degree in Information Rights Law and Practice from Northumbria University from 2020 to 2023. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc.) in Politics with International Relations from Aston University between 2016 and 2019. Additionally, Henry obtained certifications as a Certified Data Protection Officer (C-DPO) from PECB in 2022, a Certified Information Privacy Professional - Europe (CIPP/E) from the IAPP - International Association of Privacy Professionals in 2020, and a Certified ISO 27001 Practitioner from APMG International in 2019.
