Blanca Cantalejo

Blanca Cantalejo is a Senior Geologist at Lilac Solutions, Inc. since May 2023, with extensive experience as an Exploration Geologist at CNOOC International since October 2014. Blanca has worked in various significant basins across the world, particularly in the North Sea, Porcupine, Slyne, MSGBC, Nigeria, and Gabon, leading regional and prospect-level projects that involved interpreting geodata and evaluating opportunities. Prior to this, Blanca participated in a three-year graduate geoscientist program, gaining hands-on experience in exploration projects focused on plate tectonic reconstructions. An internship at Nexen involved developing a stratigraphic framework for the Tertiary in the North Sea. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Sedimentology from UCL and a BSc in Geology from Birkbeck, University of London.
