Rodrigo Rizzi Starr

Rodrigo Rizzi Starr is a highly experienced aerospace and engineering professional currently serving as a Senior Flight Control Laws Engineer at Lilium since February 2020, following a role as Senior Flight Controls Engineer. Prior to Lilium, Rodrigo was a Sensor Technical Lead/System Engineer at Autonomous Intelligent Driving GmbH, where high-level requirements for autonomous vehicle sensors were developed. Rodrigo's tenure at Embraer spanned from November 2010 to October 2018, including roles as a Product Development Engineer for Flight Control Laws and a Research & Technology Engineer, contributing to systems such as redundancy management and model-based development. Earlier experience includes software engineering at LabEEE and research roles at Embraer and Instituto de Pesquisas Tecnológicas. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Knowledge Engineering from Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica, a Master's in Artificial Intelligence from Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina, and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics from USP.
