Josh Flippance

Josh Flippance has a diverse work experience that spans over a decade. Josh has held various roles, starting as a Senior Product Manager at Invatron Systems Corp. in 2011, where they implemented Agile/Scrum best practices. After that, they worked at ADP Canada as a Senior Product Manager, leading product management and marketing for the Workforce Now SaaS solution.

In 2015, Josh joined Scalar Decisions as a Senior Product Manager - Security, where they achieved significant growth in the Security business segment by launching a suite of cyber security products and services.

Josh then moved on to Bluesun Inc. as the Director of Product Management, where they oversaw the WealthServ product strategy and development.

Following that, Josh worked at eSentire as a Senior Product Marketing Manager, leading all go-to-market activities for new product launches and implementing product marketing best practices.

In 2017, they joined Altus Group as a Product Manager, focusing on platform partners. That same year, they also served as a Director of Product Management at Bluesun Inc., where they designed a new front-office platform and established a product strategy.

Josh then worked at Prodigy Game as a Product Manager in 2019 before joining IMS (Insurance & Mobility Solutions) in 2020 as a Senior Product Manager, leading the Canadian team and launching new solutions.

Most recently, Josh has been with Covers since 2021 as a Senior Product Manager, managing a cross-functional team and launching innovative solutions to improve the sports data platform.

Currently, they hold the position of VP Product at Limelight Platform, starting in 2023.

Josh Flippance obtained a Masters Certificate in Business Analysis from the Schulich School of Business at York University in 2006-2007. Josh also obtained a degree in Computer Science from Sheridan College in 2000. In terms of certifications, they obtained a Certified Scrum Product Owner certification from the Scrum Alliance in July 2011. Josh also has additional certifications in various areas such as creating habit-forming products and product innovation, obtained from LinkedIn in 2020, and leading without formal authority and new manager foundations obtained from LinkedIn in 2018 and 2017 respectively.
