Daniel Castaño Estrella has had a varied career in the gaming industry. In 2011, they worked as an assistant camera for Goroka. From 2013 to 2015, they worked at YOC as a Junior Developer, incuva as a Game Designer, Tiny Shock as a Game Programmer, and Touchvie as a Software Developer. In 2016, they worked at Big Imagination Games as a Level Designer and Gravient VR & AR solutions as a VR and AR Technical Designer - UI/UX and programming. Since 2017, they have been a Professor of Game Design and Programming at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, and since 2018 they have been a Game Director, Narrative Director, and Game Designer at Lince Works.
Daniel Castaño Estrella graduated from Universidad Camilo Josè Cela in 2015 with a degree in Design and Development of Video Games. Prior to that, they attended ITES from 2009 to 2011, where they earned a Técnico superior de iluminación, captación y tratamiento de imagen degree in Cine, vídeo y fotografía. In addition, they have obtained two certifications: a Curso de diseño narrativo y guión de videojuegos from Udemy in February 2019 and a Product Design Finalist from Hemper Handmade in November 2017.
