Chanay James has a diverse work experience with various roles and responsibilities. Starting in 2007, they worked as the Managing Director for a tutoring service they established. In 2008, they joined Panera Bread as a Trainer and Sales Associate, where they handled sales, supervised associates, and improved customer satisfaction. From 2010 to 2012, they worked as an Administrator for The College of New Rochelle. In 2012, they became a Seasonal Associate at Barneys New York. From 2013 to 2015, they worked as a Sales Associate and Customer Support Representative at Paul Stuart, Inc. In 2014, they gained experience as a Marketing and Development Intern at Whitebox Art Center.
