Dan Hinton

Dan Hinton, CISSP, serves as the Director of IT Security and Information Technology Security Manager at Lincoln Financial Group since October 2020, where responsibilities include designing and managing identity and access management solutions while ensuring compliance with corporate security standards. Additionally, Dan holds positions as an Adjunct Faculty of Cybersecurity at Southern New Hampshire University and as an Adjunct Faculty Member at Ivy Tech Community College, delivering online and in-person courses in the field of cybersecurity and information technology. Prior experiences include roles at Charles River Development, where Dan led a global team in managing a SaaS infrastructure platform, and at McGraw-Hill Education, providing technical support for a lecture capture solution. Dan possesses a Master's degree in Information Security from DePaul University and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Indiana State University.
