Samantha Hitz

Samantha Hitz (Wessels) has extensive experience in the field of education, serving as a childcare provider at Hitz Kidz Child Care since July 2024 and working at Lincoln Public Schools since August 2014 as both a kindergarten teacher and a special education teacher. In these roles, Samantha develops and implements lesson plans tailored to students with various disabilities, ensuring individualized support for each child's needs. Previous experiences include serving as an English teaching assistant in Taiwan, where curriculum design and EFL instruction were key responsibilities, and internships focused on education policy and early childhood education. Samantha holds a Bachelor of Science in Elementary & Special Education with ELL Instruction from Nebraska Wesleyan University.
