Patrice Samuels

Patrice Samuels has extensive experience in education, currently serving as a Fourth Grade Teacher and Head Kindergarten Teacher at The Cathedral School of St. John the Divine since August 2014. Prior experience includes roles as a Third Grade Teacher and Second Grade Teacher at The Heschel School, and First Grade and Kindergarten Associate Teacher at The Cathedral School. Additional teaching experience includes time as a Student Teacher in Elementary Education and Reading Specialist at The Neighborhood School. Patrice's background in journalism adds to a diverse skill set, with writing positions at The New York Times and Forbes Magazine in the late 20th century. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Education from Bank Street College of Education, a Master's degree in Economics from Tufts University, and a Bachelor's degree in Writing and Economic History from Sarah Lawrence College.
