Annika Elfström has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Annika started their career as a System Developer at Guide Konsult AB in 1998. Annika then worked as a System Developer at Meridium in 2000 before joining Stena Line IT Services AB in 2004, where they served as a Project Manager and later as a Manager of Development Projects until 2010. At Stena Line IT Services, they also held the position of Manager Team Freight and Team Integration/Product Manager Freight Applications from 2010 to 2011.
From 2011 to 2014, Annika worked as a Development Manager at Stena Line before moving on to Stena AB in 2014. At Stena AB, they held the role of Business Account Manager and Deputy CIO until 2016, and later became the Head of Digital Transformation Lab until 2019.
In addition to their roles at Stena AB, Annika also served as a Member of the Board at Bengt Dahlgren Brand & Risk AB in 2019. Currently, they are working as the CIO at Lindex from 2019. Throughout their career, Annika has demonstrated expertise in digital transformation, leadership, and collaboration in the context of IT and business execution.
Annika Elfström has a diverse education history. In 1994, they attended the University of Gothenburg, where they obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Informatics. In 2012, they attended Lund University, where they completed a program in Business Management for IT Managers. In 2017, Annika enrolled in the Singularity University California Executive Program. Finally, in 2018, they attended Ruter Dam and participated in the Chefsutvecklings- och mentorprogram för kvinnliga seniora ledare, focusing on the development and mentoring of female senior leaders.
